From May 10 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will add a new service from Liverpool John Lennon airport to Amsterdam Schiphol.
The new early afternoon departure will leave at 2pm, arriving into Amsterdam at 4.15pm. The other flights (currently 6am, 11.35am and 16.45pm) will change to 6.05am, 10.25am and 17.20pm, arriving at 8.25am, 12.40am and 7.35pm respectively.
The return flights from Amsterdam will also change (from 10.10am, 1.45pm and 8.35pm), to the following schedule: 9.25am, arriving into Liverpool at 9.45am; 1pm, arriving at 1.20pm; 4.20pm, arriving at 4.40pm; and 8.45pm, arriving at 9.05pm.

"The new schedule means faster connectivity with KLM's intercontinental route network, seamless integration with our European network and the convenience of being able to do a full day's business in Amsterdam and be back home in time for dinner."
Neil Pakey, deputy CEO of Peel Airports, which owns and operates Liverpool airport, said: " This gives the region's business community more flexibility and the added convenience of starting long haul journeys to an even greater choice of worldwide destinations from their local airport.
"The airline's entry into Liverpool has been a real boost for the business community as well as the Airport and this extra daily flight will ensure that our city can develop further on an international stage and seen as an attractive hub for global business."
KLM has connections to more than 800 destinations via Amsterdam's Schiphol airport.
To celebrate the new timetable, KLM is offering £79 return fares, bookable until March 25 for travel until September 30.
