Aer Arann has moved its Donegal to Glasgow service from Glasgow Prestwick to Glasgow International airport.
The service from will operate four days per week, up from the previous three. Operations start on Sunday, March 28.
Until May 20 flights will depart on Fridays, Sunday and Wednesdays after which a Saturday service will be introduced.
Flight times have still to be confirmed. Fares start at €39.
Donegal airport's managing director, Anne Bonner, said: "While Prestwick-Donegal is very well supported, many of our regulars have issues with the surface transport connections.
Glasgow has a much wider catchment area and we will be looking forward to seeing some familiar faces coming through."
The first Glasgow -Donegal route started in 1986.
