Icelandair has announced a year-round service to Chicago from March next year.
The four-times weekly service from Reykjavik to Chicago O’Hare International airport will depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The airline now offers services to 15 North American destinations with connections from five UK airports.
"This is an exciting and significant moment for Icelandair and we look forward to welcoming Chicago aboard," said Birkir Holm Gudnason, CEO of Icelandair.
Last month, Icelandair said it would increase services between Birmingham and Reykjavik from two to four flights a week.
