Michael Uzielli has taken up his role as Heathrow’s new chief financial officer.
His role will include continuing to strengthen the airport’s reputation in international markets and “building confidence” in the finance area of Heathrow’s expansion plans.
Uzielli joins Heathrow from British Gas where he was finance director. Prior to his career has included the investment and aviation sectors including Schroders and British Airways.
Heathrow CEO John Holland-Kaye said:“I’m delighted to welcome Michael to the Heathrow team.
“I’m confident his breadth of experience will help us take Heathrow from being one of the best airports in Europe to one of the best in the world.”
