BTN Europe presents an overview of business travel and MICE predictions for this year
Berlin-based airline Germania is to introduce flights from Gatwick to Erfurt in central Germany.
The twice-weekly service will be introduced for the winter 2013/14 season from November 29.
Germania, which is due to launch a new service between Gatwick and Kosovo’s capital Pristina from June 29, will run the Gatwick-Erfurt flights on Mondays and Fridays using an Airbus A319 aircraft with capacity of 148 passengers.
Erfurt is the gateway to the university town of Weimar, which was the birthplace of the Bauhaus school of building.
