Flybe is launching a new service between Jersey and Aberdeen with passenger pick up and drop offs at Southampton and Leeds/Bradford airports.
Starting in October the multi-stop “hop on and hop off” shuttle service will operate three times a day, both northbound and southbound - Monday to Saturday.
The journey time between Aberdeen and Jersey is just over four hours, with the first service departing at 0700.
Flybe's chief commercial officer, Paul Simmons, said: "Today’s announcement is another significant landmark in the re-birth of Flybe.
“Designed to be used as a 'shuttle bus service in the sky' all the way between Jersey in the south and Aberdeen in the north, we are again showing that we are faster than road or rail- and certainly more affordable."
The service will be operated by a 78-seat turboprop aircraft.
