Flybe is increasing the frequency of its weekday flights from East Midlands to both Edinburgh and Glasgow from April.
The regional specialist is adding an extra service in the middle of the day to both Scottish airports from April 1 as it bids to attract more business travellers to use the route.
The extra weekday service from Edinburgh to East Midlands will leave at 10.50 with the return journey departing at 12.25. The new Glasgow-East Midlands flight will depart at 10.15 with the return scheduled to leave at 11.50.
Flybe UK’s managing director Andrew Strong said: “We expect our increased weekday services between East Midlands airport and Scotland to benefit those business passengers needing more travel options meaning they can manage their time more efficiently.”
Flybe is also adding a new Saturday frequency from Manchester to both Edinburgh and Glasgow from April 6.
