Middle eastern airline Emirates has announced it will launch flights between Dubai and Tokyo.
The flight to Japan's capital will be the second destination in the country to be served by Emirates, after Osaka.
The five-times weekly service will start on March 28.
A three-class B777-300ER will fly the route on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
EK318 will leave Dubai at 2.50am and arrive into Tokyo Narita International Airport at 7.55am the same day.
The return flight, EK319, will leave Tokyo at 9.20pm, arriving into Dubai at 4.35 the following morning.
The flights will connect with services to and from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow.
