Gulf carrier Emirates is adding another superjumbo to its Heathrow rota from January, 2012.
The addition of the third A380 will mean three of the five daily flights between London and Dubai will be served by the aircraft.
Flights EK020 and EK030, currently operated using a B777, will be taken over by the A380 from January 24.
EK029 departs Dubai at 0940, arriving into Heathrow at 1330. From Heathrow, flight EK030 leaves Heathrow at 1635 and arrives into Dubai at 0325hrs.
Salem Obaidalla, Emirates’ SVP commercial operations, Europe and Russia, said: “As these magnificent aircraft continue to join our fleet, we can offer more seats and choice in and out of high density points.”
Emirates has been flying the A380 between Heathrow and its Dubai hub since December 2008. It now has a fleet of 17 of the aircraft.
