Emirates has announced plans to increase flight frequencies on a number of routes to the UK and France as the carrier looks to boost capacities amid increasing travel demand.
The Dubai-based carrier is set to scale up its A380 operations with the double-decker aircraft returning to several routes, including to Glasgow (from 26 March), Nice (from 1 June) and Birmingham (from 1 July).
Emirates will also increase services to London with 11 daily flights, including six times daily to London Heathrow and three times daily to Gatwick, and from 1 May will resume its second daily service to Stansted on its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which is fitted with the airline’s Game Changer first class cabin.
Following the resumption of services to China this week, Emirates currently deploys its A380 aircraft to 40 destinations. By the end of summer 2023 the carrier expects to restore close to 90 per cent of its pre-pandemic A380 network.
