Easyjet has confirmed it will resume flights to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport in Israel on Friday (July 25).
The airline said due to the FAA lifting its ban on flights to the city and the European safety regulator EASA following suit, Easyjet will “operate its services to and from Tel Aviv as scheduled” from tomorrow.
Easyjet said it will "continue to monitor" the safety advice on travel to and from Tel Aviv. It currently flies to and from Tel Aviv from the UK, Switzerland, Germany and Italy.
Easyjet's schedule of flights to and from Tel Aviv on Friday 25 July:
EZS1525 - 07.10/12.10 - Geneva to Tel Aviv
EZS1526 - 13.05/16.40 - Tel Aviv to Geneva
EZY2083 - 07.05/14.05 - London Luton to Tel Aviv
EZY2084 - 15.00/18.25 - Tel Aviv to London Luton"
It follows the announcement by many airlines to ban all flights to Israel after a plane was diverted when a rocket landed close to Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion airport.
