Delta Air Lines is set to add a third daily flight on the New York-Heathrow route, from this autumn.
As of September 19, the US airline will launch an additional lunchtime service from Heathrow, departing at 12.30pm. The existing flights leave the London airport at 10.05am and 5.05pm.
From New York JFK, the flight will leave at 11.05pm, in addition to the two already established services at 6.45pm and 9pm.
Gail Grimmett, Delta's SVP New York, said: "We continue to see corporate travel demand improve across our network, particularly in New York."
Delta will expand further when there is the demand, said Grimmett.
