Delta Air Lines is further expanding its European schedule with new flights from New York to Porto launching in summer 2026.
The US carrier will operate the daily transatlantic service between New York's JFK Airport and Portugal’s second largest city from 21 May.
Delta will serve the new route with Boeing 767-300 aircraft configured with four cabins: Delta One, Premium Select, Comfort and Main.
It will be the first time that Delta has flown non-stop to Porto and will be one of seven new routes to Europe next year, including services from New York JFK to Sardinia and Malta, starting on 20 May and 7 June respectively.
Paul Baldoni, senior vice president of network planning at Delta, said: “Whether discovering Portugal or travelling to our other new destinations such as Sardinia and Malta, these additions expand choice for our customers and reinforce JFK’s role as a leading global gateway.”
The airline has also recently announced new transatlantic routes from Boston, as well as earlier launch dates for several seasonal European destinations, as part of its summer 2026 schedule.
