Delta Air Lines’ CEO Richard Anderson (pictured) is to speak at the GBTA Convention in Los Angeles this summer.
Anderson will be one of the “featured speakers” at the event to be held at the LA Convention Centre on July 26-30. Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey will also be speaking at the convention, which is using the tagline "Business in Motion".
GBTA executive director Michael McCormick said: “Richard is an industry leader and one of the most influential people in travel today. He joins an impressive slate of speakers that will give our attendees unique insight and perspective on the business travel industry.”
Anderson, who is also currently chairman of IATA, featured in Buying Business Travel’s Hotlist 2014. He was behind Delta’s decision to buy a 49% stake in Virgin Atlantic which has led to the new joint venture between the two airlines across the Atlantic.
