Danish airline Sun-Air, a franchise partner of British Airways, is to open a new route between Cambridge and Gothenburg on March 2.
The route was introduced to allow employees at biopharmaceutical firm Astra Zeneca to fly between the two airports in the UK and Sweden.

Commercial director at Sun-Air Kristian Tvergaard, said: “We’ve worked closely with Astra Zeneca and Cambridge to bring this niche but valuable market opportunity to life.”
British Airways head of UK & Ireland sales, Stephen Humphreys, said: “We are pleased to be working with Sun-Air to support the important work of British businesses, flying between Cambridge and Gothenburg.”
