Bmi Regional is to operate a new service between Aberdeen and Oslo in Norway from next month.
The independent carrier will launch the route on October 28 when it will operate six days per week – Monday to Friday, and Sundays.
Bmi has already begun operating flights from Aberdeen to Kristiansund in Norway which started last month. It also plans to fly domestically within Norway from Stavanger to the oil and gas destinations of Harstad and Tromso from January 2014.
Aberdeen-Oslo services will use a 37-seat Embraer 135 jet aircraft. Flights will leave Aberdeen at 16.05 for an 18.45 arrival in Oslo, the return service leaves the Norwegian capital at 19.15 for a 20.00 arrival back at Aberdeen.
