British Airways has announced it will operate a daily A380 service on its Heathrow to Singapore route later this year.
The carrier currently flies double-daily between the two cities, with the superjumbo flying three-times weekly on the route.
From December 14, the A380 will fly BA11/BA12 daily, with outbound service BA11 departing LHR at 1910 and arriving at Singapore Changi at 1555 the next day, and return service BA12 leaving Singapore at 2320 and landing in London at 0510 the next day.
The other service on the route, BA15/BA16 will continue to be operated by a B777.
BA has also announced that it will open its refurbished lounge at Changi's Terminal 1 this summer. No further details are currently available.
Stephen Humphreys, BA's head of UK and Ireland sales, said: "Scheduling the A380 on the Singapore route on a daily basis signals our commitment to the route and the region."
