British Airways and Toronto-based Porter Airlines will begin sharing codes from 8 July, allowing BA customers to book connecting flights in Canada in a single transaction, British Airways announced this week.
BA customers will be able to book flights to 17 Canadian destinations, including Ottawa, Edmonton and Winnipeg, when connecting from London via Toronto or Montreal. In addition, members of the British Airways Club will be able to earn Avios and tier points when travelling on Porter Airlines flights, according to BA.
Neil Chernoff, chief planning and strategy officer at British Airways said the agreement “makes travel between London and Canada even easier, offering more options and flexibility”.
He added: “We look forward to working closely with Porter Airlines and further strengthening our partnership.”
