Air France
and KLM is to move its flights at
London Heathrow Airport to Terminal
3 after previously operating from Terminal 2 during Covid and Terminal 4 prior
to that.
The move will allow Air France and KLM
passengers to arrive and depart from the same terminal as partners Delta Air Lines
and Virgin Atlantic. Additionally, the move will reduce the minimum connecting
time for passengers transiting between flights to North America, offering a
seamless transfer experience within the same terminal.
“We are very pleased to commence flying
from Terminal 3. This move brings us and our partners, Delta Air Lines and
Virgin Atlantic, closer together under one roof, and will further improve
customer experience especially for our transatlantic passengers,” said Fahmi
Mahjoub, Air France-KLM general manager, United Kingdom & Ireland.
Air France and KLM currently operate 63
weekly flights to Paris and Amsterdam from Heathrow.
