Greek carrier Aegean Airlines is to add a new route from Birmingham to Athens from summer 2014.
The service will operate twice per week from June 10 to October 25, 2014, on Tuesday and Saturday, using a 168-seat Airbus A320 in a two-class configuration.
Aegean, which is a member of the Star Alliance, already operates three daily flights from Heathrow to Athens, as well as summer services from Manchester, Gatwick and Stansted to the Greek capital.
Business class passengers and Gold card members will be able to use the business lounge at Birmingham.
Aegean completed the purchase of its fellow Greek airline Olympic for €72 million in October.
