Minicab company Addison Lee has launched a new private jet service.
In a partnership with PrivateFly.com, the car company is offering chartered jets from private London airfields.
PrivateFly.com is a booking platform for private aviation.
Addison Lee said the deal provided it with 7,000 aircraft at its disposal and a range of global operators.
It said the service aimed at corporate executives will also offer free transfers to and from the airfields in its executive cars.
The scheme will be open 24 hours a days and bookings can be made as late as 90 minutes before take off.
John Griffin, Addison Lee’s chairman, said the new offer was “another example of great innovation” from the company.
“We regularly transport clients to private jet or helicopter airfields in and around London, so helping them choose their air transport is a logical next step.
“Amongst our 20,000 account holders there’s a clear demand for faster, more convenient and more luxurious air travel.
“This partnership with PrivateFly enables Addison Lee to offer our customers the great service in the air that they already experience in our fleet of premium minicabs and chauffeur vehicles,” he added.
Adam Twidell, chief executive of PrivateFly.com, said: “Together we are looking forward to delivering the market-leading solution for ground-to-air transportation for London’s business community.”
