Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has marked its growth in the country of Georgia with the opening of the Wyndham Grand Tbilisi.
The property adds to the group's growing portfolio in the CIS region. It is owned by City M Corporation and operated under a franchise agreement.
Located in Freedom Square, Wyndham Grand Tbilisi was designed by architect Yuri Puchinsky to fit the historic style of the neighbourhood. Nearby landmarks include the National Library of Georgia, and City M Company has transferred 3,650 sqm of the building to the National Museum of Georgia.
The property features 158 guest rooms, including 17 suites and two presidential suites. It also offers five conference spaces including a ballroom, as well as a lounge bar and three restaurants serving a range of local and international dishes complemented by a selection of cocktails and Georgian wines.
The group also operates the Wyndham Batumi and Ramada Encore Tbilisi in Georgia. It has 15 operational hotels across the CIS region, with additional openings planned for later this year.
