Independent hotel group Worldhotels has added five new properties in Europe to its portfolio.
The hotels to join the group include Amsterdam’s Tropen Hotel, Victoria Palace Hotel in Paris (pictured) and Worldhotel Wings Rotterdam.
Swiss Diamond Hotel Lugano in Switzerland and Aqualux Hotel Spa Suite & Terme in the Italian city of Bardolino are also new members.
Worldhotels’ presence in Asia has been bolstered by the addition of Hong Kong’s Hotel Sav and Hotel Luna in Vigan City, Philippines.
Geoff Andrew, Worldhotels’ chief operating officer, said: “We are strategically developing our portfolio to add new key destinations and reinforce destinations with high potential.
“At our size, we need to carefully consider how we grow our portfolio. Our development strategy has to reflect our focus on quality over quantity.”
