Hotel group Travelodge is to open 15 hotels this year with an investment value of almost £100 million.
The openings will include properties in Glasgow, Southampton, Bristol and the Thames Valley and four in London.
When all 15 have opened, Travelodge will have 510 hotels in the UK.
The budget brand has also announced that it has "identified potential" for a further 150 hotels in the UK over the next eight years, creating more than 3,000 jobs, and has signed three new properties as part of this long-term investment plan – in east London's Dagenham, Dover, and Peterhead in Aberdeenshire.
In addition, the Travelodge has almost completed its £100 million refurbishment programme featuring its new look.
CEO Peter Gowers said: "We are well underway with our plans to build new Travelodge. We're investing more than £100 million in modernising our hotels for our customers and we now have 87 per cent of guest rooms upgraded to our new look.
"In 2015, we are opening 15 new hotels, creating 400 new jobs and extending our network still further."
