Waldorf-Astoria, the latest luxury brand by Hilton based on the famous hotel in New York, has opened its fifth property in Saudi Arabia. Qasr Al Sharq, or ”Palace of the Orient”, in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), is the first in the collection that is outside the United States and Hilton”s only palace hotel. Other Waldorf-Astoria hotels include Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa in Hawaii, Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix (Arizona) and La Quinta Resort & Club in Palm Springs (California).
The 24 all-suite palace hotel comprises two Palace suites, eight Royal suites, 12 Executive suites and 24 Junior suites. The latest in audio-visual entertainment, Wi-Fi access and automated controls for lighting, curtains, temperature control and refreshments feature in every room. The hotel also promises the largest guest suites in the region, opulent interior design and a personalised butler service.

The property is next to the Jeddah Hilton Hotel on North Corniche Road, 15 minutes from the airport. It is Hilton”s fourth hotel in Saudi Arabia, joining the aforementioned Jeddah property, the Makkah Hilton & Tower and the Madinah Hilton.
