Skyline Serviced Apartments has opened an office in Johannesburg to spearhead expansion on the African continent.
The brand already has serviced apartments in seven key cities across Africa and plans to enter 10 new markets in the region by the end of the year, with further site visits and expansion into new markets planned for early 2016.
Skyline’s South Africa office is in the Rosebank suburb, close to the financial district and corporate hub of Johannesburg.
Office manager Brett Eloff said: “We are extremely excited to open Skyline Africa. We feel there is fantastic growth potential in Africa and look forward to servicing current and future Skyline clients throughout the continent.”
The Johannesburg opening complements Skyline’s existing presence in London, Madrid, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The company operates more than 105,000 serviced apartments throughout 76 countries in almost 300 cities,
Skyline’s chief commercial officer Samantha Thorne said: “We recognised and have addressed the ever increasing demand for challenging locations such as Lagos and Nairobi.
“In view of this and through our local presence and personalised insights, Skyline’s business strategy is to have visited, vetted and established relationships in a number of key cities in Africa by the end of the year, with ambitious plans to develop further into this rapidly growing region throughout 2016.”
