SHANGRI-LA, the award winning Far East hotel group, was in London last week for a well organised road show with particular emphasis on its latest opening, the Shangri-La Dubai.
The 43-storey hotel, which forms part of the new multi-purpose twin tower Al-Jaber complex and features 301 guestrooms and suites, along with 126 service apartments, a deluxe King Guestroom shown on the left.
The complex is located near Dubai”s World Trade Centre and the commercial district.
Also opening shortly is the nearby the Traders Hotel and further Gulf area projects include Shangri-La”s Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, Muscat, Oman (2005) and the five-star, 35-storey Shangri-La Hotel Doha, due to open prior to the Asian Games in 2006.
Asked about a future London property Shangri-La say that it has a high priority but no deal has been signed as yet.
