The Serviced Apartment Awards announced its winners at the fourth annual ceremony in London on 14 March at the Park Plaza Riverbank hotel.
More than 350 international guests attended the black-tie gala dinner, which was hosted by actor and comedian Les Dennis and Travel Intelligence Network director Mark Harris.
The awards, organised by publisher International Hospitality Media, saw 18 winners collect trophies for their achievements, ranging from the serviced apartment, extended stay, aparthotel and short-term rental sectors to travel buyers and TMCs.
Two categories – Rising Star and Industry Inspiration – were voted for by Serviced Apartment News readers via an online poll, bringing in more than 3,000 ballots collectively.
This year also saw the introduction of two new categories – Best Travel Management Company and Best Agent or Relocation Management Company – to acknowledge the role that corporate travel plays in supporting the serviced apartment sector.
Piers Brown, CEO of International Hospitality Media, commented: “It was a great night for all involved, and very encouraging to see such engagement from the corporate travel community. The new venue worked very well and we had our biggest attendance yet – these awards really have become a highlight of the industry calendar. Congratulations to all the winners and shortlisted entries.”
