Ramada Hotels' UK brand, Ramada Jarvis, has invested 47m ($92.5m) in improvements to in-room entertainment and internet facilities across its portfolio of 43 hotels
Hotel technology company, Quadriga, will equip all 5,200 Ramada Jarvis rooms with 23-inch Philips high-definition, flat-screen TVs, all fitted with the Quadriga Genesis digital-IP system. Guests will have access to the latest movies, music on-demand and internet via their TV. SolutionInc is providing high-speed internet from a secure wired connection in every room.
Quadriga sales and marketing director, Myron Tataryn commented on the deal: ”Ramada Jarvis can now offer guests, with this agreement, a much more flexible range of integrated in-room entertainment and internet services which will encourage customer loyalty and develop additional promotional and revenue opportunities for each hotel property.”
