Radisson Hotel Group is expanding footprint in Italy with the opening of Radisson Collection Hotel, Roma Antica, the group’s 13th property in the country and its fourth in the Italian capital.
The 84-room lifestyle hotel is located in the heart of the city’s historic centre, a short walk from the Pantheon, and is housed in the recently restored Palazzo Lares Permarini, where fragments of an ancient perimeter wall from Rome’s imperial era were uncovered during the restoration and have now been incorporated into the property.
The hotel also features a rooftop bar, a restaurant that serves traditional Roman cuisine, fitness centre and spa.
Radisson Hotel Group global president and chief operating officer Chema Basterrechea, said: “With this new addition, we take pride in moving closer towards our goal of achieving 30 hotels in Italy by 2027."
The group also looking to expand its portfolio across Eastern and Southeastern Europe, with plans to open more than 10 properties in the region by 2025.
