Rezidor Hotel Group has announced it will give free high-speed internet access to anyone attending meetings and events at its Radisson SAS properties in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, even if they are not guests.
This idea is an extension of its ”E@sy Connect” system which gave all resident guests free access ” the first international hotel chain to do so, the company claims.
”We have a long commitment to being among the first to anticipate the needs of business travellers,” said Rezidor vice president marketing and customer relationship, John Kennedy.
”Getting connected to their corporate networks, checking emails, or downloading documents is important to our meeting guests, and we are now offering a complimentary and easy-to-use service to all of them ” even if they don”t have a room reservation and are just visiting for the day.”
He said most access is wireless, meaning delegates can go online from the lobby, guest rooms and other areas outside of the meeting rooms.
All users need is a day-pass - available at reception ” which will give them access via a login page.
Radisson SAS hotels also offer ”Business Class rooms” which include complimentary breakfast at the restaurant or delivered to the room, and free newspaper.
