WARSAW has celebrated the grand opening of the newly built Radisson SAS Centrum Hotel. This is the chain's third hotel in Poland, after the openings in Szczecin and Wroclaw, with another three properties to be added in Krakow, Lublin and Katowice. Located in the centre of the city it offers 311 guest rooms, a fully equipped congress centre featuring a ballroom for up to 400 people as well as smaller meeting rooms. Further facilities include a health academy equipped with weight training and aerobic rooms, a sauna, a steam bath, a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi. Warsaw currently counts two million inhabitants and is experiencing a real economic boom. It is indisputably the largest shopping and financial centre in Central Europe, benefiting from excellent relationships with its closest neighbours, Scandinavia, Germany and Russia.
