ExCeL London - 24-25 February 2021
Point A Hotels is set to open the latest “budget boutique” property in its London portfolio with the launch of a hotel near Kensington Olympia on 1 August.
Rooms have been put on sale today for Point A London Kensington Olympia, with rates starting a £75 per night, according to the company. To celebrate the upcoming opening, Point A is offering a 20 per cent discount on bookings when using the code ‘LAUNCH’ for stays between 1 August and 8 September.
The new hotel features 103 guest rooms, five of which are accessible, in a new building that has retained a late-Victorian facade. Situated on West Cromwell Road near Earls Court Underground station, the property offers access for events taking place at Olympia.
In addition, the hotel features a 24-hour hosted reception and a lobby lounge, where Point A’s “Brekkie” concept will be served daily along with refreshments available 24/7. Guests have access to free wifi throughout public areas and guest rooms.
Rooms feature Hypnos beds with fabric headboards and throws from the Isle of Bute, power showers and a 43-inch Samsung Smart TV with Google Chromecast, which allows guests to stream their own content directly to the television.
Guests can also joint Point A’s loyalty programme the A-List, which provides offers and deals at local bars and restaurants, as well as a permanent 10 per cent discount on all future bookings at any Point A hotel.
The newest property joins Point A’s existing hotels across the UK, including six in London (Shoreditch, Liverpool Street, King’s Cross St Pancras, Paddington, Westminster and Canary Wharf) along with Glasgow and the recently opened Edinburgh Haymarket.
Nic Wenn, MD of Point A Hotels, commented: “At Point A Hotels we aim to deliver heartfelt hospitality to everyone, without a huge price tag. Our new London Kensington Olympia hotel offers a welcome boost to this affluent area of West London, where quality, affordable accommodation is in short supply.”
Point A Hotels launched in 2017 as a collection of boutique hotels and is part of the Queensway Group, which acquires, develops and operates a portfolio of real estate across the hotel, restaurant and coffee house, and property development and lettings sectors.
