The Park Hyatt has confirmed its new Bangkok hotel will open in March, two years after its original launch date.
Occupying levels nine to 36 of the Central Embassy mixed-use complex in Bangkok’s CBD, the hotel is connected to a luxury shopping mall and entertainment centre, featuring a cinema and 45 restaurants.
The hotel will offer 222 rooms and suites. It will also include 2,000 sqm of event space, including a pillarless ballroom.
Michael Golden, general manager of the Park Hyatt Bangkok, said: “There will be lots of technology in the rooms, but not to the point where you feel you need a manual. The light switches are very simple – people always seem to struggle with that – but there will be USB ports and universal plug sockets everywhere so it’s easy to charge your devices."
