Portable hotel provider Snoozebox has won a contract to supply a temporary hotel for Premier Oil workers.
Snoozebox will build the temporary 80-room property in the Falkland Islands in time for its scheduled opening on February 1 and the hotel will operate for one year. It will also include a dining area and other social spaces including a gym.
Snoozebox chief executive Lorcan O Murchu said: “I am pleased to be partnering with Premier Oil to deliver a fully serviced turnkey hotel, ensuring their workforce are accommodated and catered for effectively.
“We are seeing increasing demand from the energy and construction sectors for our complete hotel solution and our higher quality accommodation.”
As well as providing temporary hotels for corporate clients, Snoozebox also provides accommodation for major sporting and cultural events such as the British Grand Prix, Ryder Cup golf and Glastonbury Festival.
