A new Ramada will open two miles from Heathrow on September 17.
The 200-bedroom hotel, Ramada London Heathrow, will be the 43rd hotel operated by Ramada Jarvis Hotels Limited.
The hotel will have five air-conditioned meeting rooms which will cater for 12 delegates seated boardroom-style, and larger conference rooms built for 35 people seated in a square. Three of the rooms can be linked together to hold a maximum of 90 people.
Delegates will be able to press a button to call for a ”summit host” who will be on hand to help throughout an event. All of the meeting rooms will have natural light, screens, high speed internet access and free wifi, which will also be available in communal areas and all bedrooms at an additional cost.
For overnight guests, rates start from ”69 at the weekend and ”149 on a weekday, including VAT. The bedrooms will have work stations, flat screen TVs and on-demand films as well as a 24-hour room service. Alternatively, guests can dine in the informal Arts Brasserie, which serves breakfast from 0630 and sandwiches and three-course meals until 2230.
The informal caf”-style eaterie will seat 120 and will operate in an open area on the hotel”s ground floor. Diners can choose to sit at low coffee tables or more formal seating. A variety of wines will be available, such as the house wine, Sauvignon Blanc, at ”14 a bottle.
Passengers can reach the hotel from all terminals on the Heathrow Hoppa shuttle bus, operated by National Express, which takes 45 minutes. The shuttle costs ”4 and runs from 0430 to 2330. However, of all of Bath Road”s hotels, the Ramada is the furthest from Heathrow.
But the hotel is easily accessed by road as it”s not far from the A312 Parkway, which feeds off the M4. It is also close to the A30, and up to 75 guests can park onsite.
