London’s South Bank area has a new Hilton property in the shadow of the Tate Modern gallery.
The Hilton London Bankside is the latest hotel to open in the central Southwark quarter, which has seen several new properties constructed in the last few years, spurred by the popularity of the nearby modern art gallery and the Shard building.
The hotel has conference facilities for up to 750 spread over 1,000 square metres and includes a ballroom. The 292 rooms include free wi-fi and there is an Executive Room option with access to refreshments and business services. The Presidential Suite offers a living room, dining area, kitchenette and outdoor terrace. Accessible rooms with emergency call buttons and visual alarms are available.
There is also a business centre, pool, fitness centre and guests can use the services of an Art Concierge.
