Minor Hotels has expanded its portfolio with the introduction of four new hotel brands across the luxury, premium and ‘select’ segments.
The Bangkok-based company, whose existing hotel portfolio includes Anantara, Avani, NH and Oaks, said the additional brands will fuel expansion into new markets, with a growth target of reaching 850 properties by the end of 2027.
New additions to the luxury segment include the Minor Reserve Collection, where “each property is a world of its own” and The Wolseley Hotels, inspired by the iconic Piccadilly restaurant with properties that “blend British elegance with European flair”.
Colbert Collection joins the group’s premium segment and will encompass a global collection of independent hotels with a focus on culinary offerings, social connection and “curated” experiences for guests.
iStay Hotels, meanwhile, will offer a budget-friendly option with “minimal fuss”.
The company said it is in “active discussions” regarding development opportunities for each brand, with property announcements expected in “the coming months”.
Minor Hotels’ portfolio expansion follows the appointment in January of Gonzalo Aguilar as the company’s new CEO for Europe and Americas, two key growth markets for the group, which currently operates more than 560 hotels across 57 countries.
