Millennium & Copthorne Hotels (M&C) has announced its CEO Jennifer Fox has stepped down with immediate effect after just three months in the role.
A statement from M&C says Fox and the company’s board “mutually agreed” for her to step down yesterday (27 September), though the firm did not go into further detail.
Group chief of staff and former interim CEO Tan Kian Seng will resume the position until Fox’s replacement is appointed.
Fox took on the role in June, filling the shoes of Aloysius Lee, who stood down in January. She has 30 years’ hospitality industry experience and said she had ambitions for the company when she joined.
M&C’s brands include Millennium, Grand Millennium, Copthorne and Kingsgate hotels.
The group reported a dip in revenue for the first half of the year.
