Marriott International is opening an Edition hotel in Dubai in 2018.
The 258-room Dubai Edition will be the luxury brand's second property in the United Arab Emirates, joining a hotel in Abu Dhabi that is scheduled to open next year.
The Dubai property will be located on Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) and is due to open its doors in the first quarter of 2018.
Features will include "multiple" food and drink outlets, meeting and event space, a fully-equipped business centre, a spa and a beach club.
Alex Kyriakidis, Marriott International president in the Middle East and Africa, said: "Dubai remains one of the most important and vibrant destinations in the world, where we are delighted to announce our second Edition hotel to open in the Middle East."
The hotel will open as a joint venture between Marriott, Ian Schrager and owner/developer Dubai Properties. Marriott will manage the property under a long-term agreement.
Edition Hotels currently has properties in London, New York, Miami and Instanbul.
Earlier this year, the lifestyle brand opened the first of two Edition properties in New York. It announced it will open a hotel in Reykjavik in 2018.
Future openings are planned as follows: Abu Dhabi in 2016; Sanya in 2016; Bangkok in 2016; New York Times Square in 2018; West Hollywood in 2018; Reykjavik in 2018; Wuhan in 2019; and Bali in 2019.
