Marriott International has opened its first hotel in Wuhan, located in the heart of the city's rapidly expanding business district. The Renaissance Wuhan Hotel is the company's 24th property in China, with 300 rooms over 22 storeys.
Wuhan Tianhe International Airport is approximately 35km (22m) from the hotel, which is situated on the east side of the Yangtze River not far from the East Lake. The property has 278 guestrooms, with an additional 16 suites, five apartments and one presidential suite. Each room offers broadband access, a glass work desk and individually controlled air-conditioning.
Exclusive to Club Floor guests is the Renaissance Club Lounge on the 21st floor is home to the Renaissance Club Lounge - exclusive to Club Floor guests - with wireless internet access, views over the city, complimentary continental breakfast and evening canap”s and cocktails.
Dining facilities at the new hotel include the innovative Wan Li Chinese Restaurant, which offers contemporary national cuisine and has 11 private rooms complete with plasma TVs. Also available are the Renaissance Brasserie and Wuhan Bar & Lounge.
Meetings and conference space are on the third floor, spanning 1,372sq m (4,501sq ft) with a grand ballroom of 176sq m. An indoor pool, health club, massage service, beauty salon, cold plunge pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room are also available.
