Macdonald Hotels and Resorts is re-launching its conference and meetings product ”Meetings@”.
Introduced in 2005, the initiative has already contributed a 10% rise year on year in the group”s meeting and event revenue, but is now being updated with additional facilities in meetings rooms, an enhanced customer service, and closer liaison with meeting planners to ensure their needs are met.
”Whilst Meetings@ was proving to be very popular, we were conscious that we couldn”t let it become tired in what is a very competitive market place,” said Macdonald Hotels and Resorts senior marketing manager Andrew Watson.
”This investment has shaken the cobwebs away and enabled us to not only enhance our core product but reinvigorate the passion on our teams.”
Macdonald claims Meetings@ will now follow the same principals of attention to detail, fresh and innovative food and a consistent complete meetings product throughout the group”s four and five star properties.
”Our aim is that Meetings@ continues to stay in touch with the needs of our clients and evolves appropriately, ensuring its place as a market leader in the sector,” said Macdonald director of sales Esther Conn.
Meetings@ offers flexible space for large and small meetings across the UK, with capacity to accommodate up to 1,150 delegates in its largest property, with a range of bedroom types to suit any business need.
