London's Carlton Tower Jumeirah hotel has reopened after an 18-month, £100 million refurbishment – the most extensive in its history.
The 17-storey Knightsbridge hotel has had all rooms, restaurants, spa and public areas overhauled.
Guestrooms have been redesigned with 'an emphasis on light and space' and have been reduced from 216 rooms to 186 to offer larger accommodation. Published rates start from £540 per night.
Renovations also include the creation of a double-height reception space, a new lobby bar and lounge, and refurbished meeting spaces and ballroom.
“We are thrilled to welcome back our valued guests following a significant investment and a complete renovation of the hotel," says Aaron Kaupp, regional vice president Northern Europe and general manager of The Carlton Tower Jumeirah.
"This landmark opening is set against the backdrop of a pandemic, which has seen the world and our beloved industry face extreme difficulty.”
