Luxury hotel group Loews Hotels and Resorts is now offering free Wi-Fi at all of its 18 North American hotels.
The basic Wi-Fi will be offered for free in rooms, lobbies, restaurants and at the pool areas. Meeting spaces are not included in the free access and will continue to be sold to groups booking those areas.
Guests will be offered the free Wi-Fi at a standard connection speed but guests can upgrade at a cost of $14.95 for a faster connection. The higher connection speed will be offered for free to members of Loews loyalty programme.
“Prompt, reliable Internet access has become a necessary and expected hotel amenity,” said Loews Hotels and Resorts president and CEO Paul Whetsell.
“We’re delighted to be one of the first hotel brands in our category to offer complimentary Wi-Fi access to each and every one of our guests.”
