The Fattal Hotel Group has announced that it has signed a lease agreement to open a new property in Bristol that will be managed by Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels UK and Ireland.
The 85,575 sqft hotel will be part of the Glassfields development situated on Temple Way, close to the city’s business district. It will mark the Jurys Inn and Leonardo group’s debut in Bristol.
As part of the Glassfields development, the hotel will also include new office space and shopping outlets alongside 200 guest rooms. Each room will feature a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee “refreshment docks” and en suite bathrooms. The site will also offer a restaurant and bar, meeting facilities and a 24/7 staffed reception.
Fattal Hotel Group has made a number of UK acquisitions in recent months, including the Midland Hotel and a site on Adair Street in Manchester and the Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton. The company plans to invest £32 million in the redevelopment and expansion of the existing Jurys Inn Edinburgh and its neighbouring site, which will convert an adjacent listed building into a new 131-room Nyx Hotels property.
The group also recently announced it had acquired the leases for four Grange Hotels properties in central London, which will be rebranded under the Jurys Inn and Leonardo and Nyx portfolios.

There is no opening date for the Bristol property, but construction on the Glassfields development began earlier this year.
