Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) has confirmed it will open three Holiday Inn Express hotels in the UK and Ireland over the next two years.
The 80-room Holiday Inn Express Grimsby is scheduled to open late-2015, and will be located in the centre of the town close to the railway station.
This will be followed by the 198-room Holiday Inn Express Dublin city-centre (below) located on O’Connell Street.
Also due to open in 2016 will be the 138-room Holiday Inn Express hotel in Middlesbrough located in the centre of the town.
The new developments will add to the 219 existing Holiday Inn Express properties across Europe, with a further 38 currently in the pipeline (figures as of the end of March).
In April IHG confirmed it will open a new holiday Inn hotel in Manchester in 2016.
