Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened its latest Hotel Indigo in Madrid.
The 85-room hotel, the second Indigo property to open in Spain, is located on Gran Via – one of the main shopping strips in the Spanish capital.
Indigo is IHG’s boutique brand with a focus on lifestyle and a leaning towards the younger business traveller. The brand has 39 hotels open and more than 50 in the pipeline.
The hotel offers free wifi throughout and the interior and design features, “take inspiration from the history of the local area”.
IHG, VP brand management, Tom Rowntree, said: “This newest addition to the brand truly encapsulates the style and charm of Madrid, a chic cosmopolitan city for guests to enjoy both inside and out.”
