InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has signed an agreement with TD Corporation to manage a new Crowne Plaza in Nha Trang, Vietnam scheduled to open in 2010.
The property will have 305 guestrooms and suites and 113 serviced residences.
The hotel will include conference and meeting facilities for up to 800 guests, as well as three restaurants and a bar. It will also offer comprehensive meetings-focused products and services to ensure a seamless planning process and experience for guests.
”It”s an opportunity to introduce our Crowne Plaza brand into one of Vietnam”s fastest growing destinations for tourism and investment,” said IHG Asia Pacific, Southern Asia and Korea chief operating officer Jan Smits.
”Nha Trang”s increasing popularity among international and domestic travellers has created a demand for an upscale hotel like Crowne Plaza, offering superior business and recreational services. We are confident it will perform exceptionally well.”
TD Corporation chairman Tran Anh Hoang added: ”It will be built on a prime site in the best location on the boulevard. We look forward to working with IHG to maximise the potential of this hotel and to bring great experiences to visitors coming into Nha Trang.”
This is the third Crowne Plaza under development in the country after the 500-room hotel in Danang ” scheduled for 2009 ” and 393-room West Hanoi property, to open in 2010.
