Hotel hygiene specialist Check Safety First is launching a new range of products aimed at helping hotel chains to “maintain brand consistency” across their properties.
The new services, which have been launched today (January 14) under the umbrella of Cristal International Standards, include Brand Check - an auditing process designed to evaluate properties through a series of questions tailored to the brand’s “key values”.
Stephen Tate (pictured), chairman of Check Safety First, said: “Most hoteliers are facing the same opportunities and challenges in the expanding global marketplace.
“What sets a group apart is the values and qualities of the brand and these need to be consistent across the globe. Guests expect a hotel to provide the same level of service as another from the same group, wherever they are in the world.”
As well as Brand Check, Cristal will also offer a service to hotel owners called Standards Check which aims to ensure that all hotels within a chain comply with international legal and voluntary standards.
Tate added: “With over 65 million monthly users on Trip Advisor, the explosion of online review sites and social networks is a significant problem for the hospitality industry.
“Global brands have a major problem on their hands as damaging customer feedback can threaten their reputation. Cristal International Standards can help premier hotel groups protect themselves with brand, quality and standards assurance.”
Cristal has been operating since 1997 and provides software to hotel companies to help them maintain standards for hygiene, and health and safety.
