B2B furnished apartment booking platform Homelike has expanded its services into the Netherlands, allowing business travellers and companies to book apartments in the country.
The platform has launched in Amsterdam with 1,000 apartments, while it is beginning to offer accommodation in Rotterdam and other cities in the Benelux region.
Homelike opened its first overseas office in the UK earlier this year, making the Netherlands expansion its second venture outside of the Germany, Switzerland and Austria (GSA) region.
Dustin Figge, CEO and founder of Homelike, said: “We are very excited to offer furnished apartments in Amsterdam, where many large companies are based. Amsterdam is an international melting pot and companies were frequently asking us if we can support them in finding business accommodation for their employees on assignments or relocations. Finding a reasonably priced and comfortable ‘home away from home’ from abroad is very difficult because of highly fragmented apartment offerings. Therefore, Amsterdam was the next logical step for us as part of our European expansion strategy.”
Homelike has a portfolio of 50,000 furnished business apartments in four countries and more than 120 cities and its platform allows companies to book accommodation for more than 30 days online.
